Shiyaaka Shadow Khadlaj 2025

After a long wait, the "Shiyaaka Shadow | Khadlaj / خدلج" arrived today. After showering, I sprayed it on properly and thought, well, it’s not as special as advertised. Not that it’s bad; it is nice, but it actually reminds me very strongly of fragrances that most people already have in their collection, such as: "Bleu de Chanel (Eau de Toilette) | Chanel," "Versace pour Homme Dylan Blue (Eau de Toilette) | Versace," "Sauvage (Eau de Toilette) | Dior," and "Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir | Carolina Herrera." It starts off slightly citrusy and peppery, followed by a lightly smoky amber note that comes across as slightly earthy and mossy in the dry down. Nice, nothing special, it doesn’t offend and is, as they like to say, easy to wear. It is suitable for everyday use and also good for the gym. Would I recommend it? Yes and no; if you already have one of the fragrances mentioned above, you don’t need this scent unless you like this DNA. It’s nice, but that’s about it.
