Ange Lapin Koto Parfums 2013

Very helpful Review
Sad Embrace of a Bouquet of Yellow Buttercups
I come home
from abandoned paths that I have walked in worn-out sneakers
When I am sad
I look at our old messages and fairy tale movies
embracing in the dark a bouquet of yellow buttercups*
Ange Lapin probably comes from France, but I got to know it in a student flatshare in Russia, which, unlike almost all the flatshares I have entered here, was clean and well-kept and smelled softly of flowers upon entering.
Speaking of ‘soft’, à propos ‘flowers’:
This perfume contains no alcohol; it is said to be particularly suitable for dry and/or sensitive skin.
It leaves behind a gentle veil of flowers on a woody, slightly fruity base that doesn’t last too long after wearing.
Jasmine and almond blossoms are really calm here, soothing, in blissful harmony, almost like in a fairy tale.
When I sprayed Ange Lapin, I felt a bit like under the starry rain of a good fairy’s magic wand, who is just turning my sad existence into a fairy tale with a happy ending with ‘Bippedi bappedi buu’ and completely free of vaffanculo.
In my hair, the wood lingers, perhaps as if Princess Tshajbukoshka had lain on the bed for too long, daydreaming, on bedding over powdery-fluffy-white clean musk.
What does one do with such a scent?
The inner villain or Salem...
Salem: protests at this point and immediately scratches Tshajbukoshka's eyes out
Tshajbukoshka: Yes, exactly. Anyone who is evil and doesn’t want to smell like it from ten meters away is well advised to use this for camouflage.
Otherwise, the scent is more for parents of babies who want to convey a sense of calm and security to the newborn while wearing perfume, but don’t want to subject their offspring to the piercing smell of alcohol.
Salem: Tshajbukoshka could use that too; unlike classic perfume, it might not promote skin aging as much. If you try hard now, you won’t look ten years older than your true age in ten years.
Tshajbukoshka: rolls her eyes, does not buy Ange Lapin as the stay-at-home-and-ignore-the-world scent for time on the sofa or for calming before sleep, and puts Salem out on the street at the next sound
Salem: remains silent like an Ange Lapin and purrs to himself
Salem: Although. I have one more question. Why this excellent rating?
Tshajbukoshka: I see the theme and the naming very well executed here.

“Woody-fruity” is just a subtle background, as I mentioned. I hope I made it clear with the title and text that Ange Lapin is a gentle floral, slightly powdery fragrance.
