Wood with a Twinkle and a Grin

So this is how he grins, the Beelzebub.

A woody, noble, spicy yet cozy scent that reminds me of a crackling conifer fire in a snow-covered log cabin in winter, with a hint of madness. Outside, the snow lies thick, breath condenses, the air is crystal clear - inside, the fire crackles, sparks occasionally fly, one stares into the flames and can't shake the feeling that the flames are somehow staring back. This is roughly how this perfume feels to me. There is something sandalwood-like, cedar-like, sweetly resinous, cozy on the surface, and something hidden, mysterious, smoky, and wicked smolders in the background.

The substance lasts on my skin for a good 8-10 hours, has a decent sillage, and feels very natural and organic - in no way sterile or synthetic.

I recommend to anyone who enjoys woody, smoky scents, has a bit of mischief in their neck, and perhaps wants to invite others to indulge a little, to give this fragrance a try, and who knows, maybe forge a lasting pact with this smiling prince of darkness. It has certainly made its way into my collection.

This is really a cheeky fireplace snuggler. I like it unusually well too.

Just a quick note: the perfume is correctly called "Le sourire du diable" and not "de" diable.

I bought it directly in the store in Brussels. They told me there that you can also order something via email for a small shipping fee if needed -- I think the address can be found on their homepage (but almost nothing else).

Addendum: How did you get this fragrance? Online or directly in Brussels?
