The Rose Thief's Spoils
Sparkling amber-warm
In the deep patchouli cellar
Hidden behind wooden panels
Enticing
Rose de Resht
In a plum velvet cloak...

La Perla would definitely be a very good reference if the similarity is accurate.

Rose and plum - tricky. But it still sounds interesting.

Even though there are now plenty of variations of this direction, I still enjoy well-executed versions of it.

I see it a bit skeptically on myself.

I've had Rose-Patchouli a few too many times in the last few years.

Great statement!
For me, the scent was very pleasant, and the sillage of 6 fits perfectly!

Every now and then, I can actually get along quite well with Patchouli-Rose (Noir de Noir) when the velvet train needs some freedom again. ;) However, this one sounds a bit too shy for that.

Thanks for the great description, also below. Yes, it was more innovative in 1993. I love Rose de Resht, and amber and plum too-I'll definitely give that a try.

My (unfortunately only in the pot) roses have already faded again, but the scent of the Rose de Resht in nature is simply wonderful...

Overall, a rather shy scent despite its bold notes... The Damask roses are authentic (here and there, I’m actually reminded of my Rose de Resht from the garden) and are accompanied by lightly sweet amber and velvety, tart plums. Pleasant earthy patchouli is always present while a subtle sandalwood note acts merely as an accessory. Overall, it's not quite my style and feels a bit too quiet for me. In the early '90s, this fragrance direction was definitely more innovative than it is today.
