Too much sandalwood and vanilla, not enough incense and lily
I got the EDT miniature a while ago and I loved the scent but due to its poor longevity I thought it's worth trying a more concentrated variant. I was wrong.
First things first, Passage d'Enfer Extreme is by no means a bad scent. It's just not what I hoped it would be. It did not deliver on the incense and smoke but completely over-delivered sandalwood. Just a hefty dollop of sandalwood with a dash of vanilla on top of the scent I liked from the EDT version.
I dislike sandalwood and vanilla, so this is a loss for me. The warmth of these notes made the cold ghostly quality disappear on my skin.
At least I will always have my lily and incense sad cathedral scent in Relique d'Amour... Can't win them all, I guess
