Here there is no horizon. Here is a small cloud. It casts its scent particles into the vast field of feelings. Fragrances from the distance of dreams. With veil-like smoke from small southern fires, with storax from the amber tree or also from amber resins from southern regions. Scents from a world full of secrets.
From Provence. Ambre de L'Occitane.
Brought forth from a memory, amber caresses us. Soft and warm. Powdery and flattering. Sweet and dry. Bright like brown-glimmering gold.
A pinch of cinnamon, secretly hidden juniper, fine extract of tonka bean, and essence of vanilla give the ambre a velvety background. In delicate company from the floral notes of freesia, from sparks of the green world of bergamot, from caramelized cedar and smoky resins of cistus, we are on the trail to personal happiness. The scent lingers long, very softly, in sunbeams up into the darkening firmament. Or it gets lost on the cuffs of a carefully ironed shirt. In the folds of the hands.
We are captivated. And let ourselves be carried by a gondola in the clouds, by a carpet from a thousand and one nights, towards the horizon of transience. Out into the distance of dreams.
To Occitania with L'Ambre de L'Occitane.

Ambre No. 6
The original "Ambre by L'Occitane" is no longer available. "Les Classiques de L'Occitane - Ambre (2016)" is the successor. With the same pyramid and almost the same, lovely message.
Many people have loved this Ur-Amber. Unfortunately, I've never encountered it - but reading your words, it seems the reissue is more than just a weak consolation.
A lovely love letter to this amber scent :). Is it identical to its successor? It's at least listed as a scent twin, and your last sentence sounds like that’s true.
Oh, I like that one too. Unfortunately, I missed the chance to buy a last bottle. I had it in my hand already, the bottle, it was in Malta where the scent was apparently sold a bit longer. To this day, I don't know what stopped me.
**Floating beautiful words.**
