Eau de la Récolte Bleue L'Occitane en Provence 2005

It is still early this morning when I step outside, but it is already warm. Fog lies over the meadows, it looks as if the earth is steaming. It’s going to be another hot day! In the air is the song of the birds and the scent of summer...

And that’s exactly how it smells to me: Eau de la Recolte Bleue! Like a summer morning, a real summer morning. One where you could imagine being in an exotic land. The lavender, which plays the main role in this fragrance, is probably to blame for that. In summer, it blooms abundantly in my garden, I love this scent! I can’t pick out the other components individually, but they wonderfully cushion the lavender so that it doesn’t become too intense and piercing, just like in nature.

As for longevity, I can only say that more is more. After about half a day, I want to reapply, which is always safely possible with this perfume. You can’t set off a scent bomb with it. Overall, the fragrance is an unobtrusive but very pleasant companion for every day. A versatile talent for spring and summer. By the way, lavender is said to have a relaxing effect, which is very helpful for me on stressful workdays.

Because of this relaxing effect, I will spray it on my pillow tonight. I close my eyes, hear birds chirping... Tonight, I will dream of summer!
