LPDO fragrances enchanted me only on the second spray. I had to try many of them multiple times before I liked them. However, this one was from the very beginning one of my favorites. The reason is the fragrance notes, which contain at least 4 of my Top 5. Of course, the blend is what matters in the end, but "Excentrique Oud" hits the mark for my taste.
I must say, I love Ambroxan and this creation is an Ambroxan beast on my skin. It reminds me of "Office" by Jeremy Fragrance, which is a similar powerhouse with this note. At the very beginning, raspberry is briefly a theme, but it quickly disappears. The oud is hardly present and so subtly used that one could even claim it’s not there at all. In the end, Ambroxan remains, a tiny hint of fresh bergamot, and a mini whiff of musk.
This fragrance can be worn well for going out in the evening. I actually see it more in the masculine range and would prefer it for somewhat cooler spring or autumn days. The sillage is okay, and I can still perceive the perfume on my clothing after 6-7 hours. The bottle is typical for the brand and appealing.
Conclusion:
A hidden gem for little money! Smells high-quality, makes an impression, and is loud enough due to the Ambroxan to stand out. It has made its way directly into my collection!
