Pure Honey and then ... Cinnamon + Oud - DELICIOUS !!!
Pure Honey - this is the opening, simply super delicious. Cinnamon is initially very reserved but unfolds after some time together with the Laotian oud, which is not animalistic but rather has a sandalwood touch. In my opinion, cinnamon should not be listed in the top notes. It unfolds with all its strength and beauty in the base along with the agarwood, which appears very elegant here. Absolutely NO camel stable or buffalo dung! If the fragrance did not have a gentle floral note after the opening, which seems a bit soapy here, Mieloud would deserve a solid 10.0. The longevity is excellent - after 12 hours, it still smells of cinnamon and gentle oud on the wrist; the sillage is quite good, though not overwhelming. Therefore, this fragrance is even suitable for the office, provided you spray it 1 hour before entering the office.
CONCLUSION: A truly wonderful gourmand, rounded off by subtle oud. A clear recommendation to buy!
The bottle is LPDO-standard, but looks quite nice, even if it cannot be compared at all with a "The Merchant of Venice" bottle or one of the beautifully designed Lalique bottles.
@Globomanni: I ordered it too. I just can't resist sweet cinnamon. Thanks for your comment. I wasn't familiar with these scents at all. The vanilla is supposed to be nice as well.
@Precious: I really like the sweet-cinnamon-woody transformation!
