Are You a Mulled Wine Candy?

LPDO is a real insider tip when it comes to fragrances. I am slowly working my way through the various perfumes and have now arrived at “Ambre Luxure.”

The opening is sweet and floral, but my nose picks up something else. A memory surfaces… this is how mulled wine candies smell at the Christmas market! In the drydown, it loses some of that and the scent becomes spicier. The labdanum becomes more prominent and slightly overpowers the initial sweetness. However, I don’t notice much of the namesake amber at first.

The bottle is typical for the Italian brand, and I find the color design fitting for the fragrance. The longevity is okay for me at about 5 hours for a “daily” scent, and the sillage behaves similarly.

Conclusion:
Not the best perfume from LPDO, but usable as a daily scent for leisure and work. Due to its resemblance to mulled wine, it is also suitable for winter. Not a must-buy, but you can if you want.

Yes, I really like that brand too. I don't smell any mulled wine candies, but it's definitely nice in winter!
