First fresh, then spicy… but always a charming companion!
A little sample of Folies d'Épices has fluttered into my home :) The brand LPDO has caught my attention for a while, and the fragrance notes of this perfume make me perk up. Cardamom and bergamot lead to cinnamon and rose, before ending on a woody note. It could also become a poem.
The beginning is very citrusy and is a great start to my day. Not intrusive, rather a bit understated. It doesn’t take long before a hint of rose appears, adding an extra floral note to the sillage. A scent that is perfect for everyday life and work. On me, it lasts about 4-5 hours on the skin, and I wouldn’t want to work much longer anyway ;)
The bottle is, like other variants from the brand, appealing, and while I don’t find the name 100% fitting, I do find it amusing! Folies d'Épices means "spice madness"
Conclusion: For the price, a nice fresh all-rounder that can be purchased and tried without hesitation. Perfect for unspectacular and normal days.
