A Lone Cowboy
Initial impressions: anise, leather, smoke, wood.
I love the woody notes here. That aspect reminds me of an old cedar chest my dad built, sweet and dry. I don't specifically smell the incense, but the smoke is on the sweeter side, not overly pungent or meaty. And of course there's the leather, warm and well-worn. I often struggle with fragrances with notes of smoke, leather, or oud, so it's a miracle that I like this. I don't think the projection and longevity are particularly great, but this does smell very good.
One of LVNEA's sexier creations in my opinion. Similar to Nuit Désert, Cuir Fétiche makes me think of a lone adventurer in the desert making camp for the night. A weary cowboy who has been travelling on horseback for days. His journey is almost over, his lover waits for him. Compared to Nuit Désert, Cuir Fétiche is more masculine and raw. A bit darker and more carnal. Yeah, quite sexy.
