Cherry Blossom Celebrations
I haven't tested L’Erbolario fragrances in a long time. There was a time when I tried many scents from this brand, but the newer ones have passed me by lately. So it's time to catch up a bit, and I will try one of the new fragrances now. Because I must say, among the many L’Erbolario scents, there are quite a few beautiful fragrances that one should try, especially since these fragrances are not too expensive.
Anyway, here comes a fragrance with cherry blossoms, which should actually be a hit in Japan, as the Japanese have a real cherry blossom tradition and celebrate the blooming of these trees with family and friends, at least that's what I'm reading here :)
And to be honest, the sight of the cherry trees is really beautiful :)
Well then, let's see how the scent smells, which sounds like a really lovely spring fragrance, and it is indeed time for spring, as it has been getting warmer in the last few days… let’s see how long that lasts :D
**The Scent:**
The fragrance has a loosely fruity cherry note as well as a light sweet jasmine note. The oranges, although a bit weak, come through nicely and sparkling from time to time. Thus, the top note is both fruity sweet and sparkling fresh.
Later, the scent unfortunately becomes a bit weaker as it begins to radiate less, making it somewhat more difficult to filter out the listed fragrance notes. Jasmine and cherry blossoms are still present, but the citrus notes are slowly fading away. Roses… yes, these flowers are present to some extent.
However, the middle part seems to be skipped, as the notes from the base start to become noticeable quickly. You can clearly smell the musk and hints of tonka bean, which add an extra sweetness to the fragrance, yet it remains fresh and light without becoming overly sweet. Additionally, it becomes slightly powdery and thus softer. I also had the feeling that the scent later had a slight clean-soapy (and a bit stuffy) aura.
**The Sillage and Longevity:**
The sillage is unfortunately only moderate and fades quickly. It won't be noticeable for long, and you will need to reapply several times a day if you want more of this scent. This is advisable anyway, as the later base smells rather mediocre.
The longevity is also short, so the fragrance is detectable for four or five hours.
**The Bottle:**
The bottle seems to be made of plastic, is opaque pink in color, and features a label on the front with a drawing of cherry blossoms. The cap is also pink and cylindrical. Although the bottle is rather simple, it looks quite nice due to its color.
As mentioned at the beginning, the fragrance indeed smells nice of cherries or cherry blossoms. Besides the fruity scents, this fragrance also offers many sweet notes, although these sweet scents are never extremely intense and therefore smell very pleasant even on warm days. Thus, this fragrance, with its relaxed character, has become a lovely scent for spring, which comes across as gentle, not intrusive, and very feminine. Perhaps a bit weak for going out, but it is an excellent daily companion.
Tra i Ciliegi is, in my opinion, one of the nice L’Erbolario fragrances that you can definitely try. Not extraordinary and for me, in the end, slightly stuffy and rather mediocre towards the end, but overall quite nice :)
Well then, I wish everyone a Happy Holiday! … For me, it will probably mean that, as I already complained about yesterday, I will be munching on chocolate Easter bunnies again… since they still haven't been finished and continue to stare at me from my table… *sigh* :D

First of all, it lasts quite a long time on me. Secondly, the bottle is more glass than plastic. Thirdly, it's a wonderful spring mood-boosting scent. Have fun with the Easter bunnies!
