I really enjoyed the "Oud - Ambre Cannelle | La Closerie des Parfums." It is a great, wintry, oriental-spicy as well as festive fragrance with strong performance. The longevity on my skin is about 24 hours with a successful sillage.
I don't really recognize the top note indicated in the fragrance pyramid. It starts off directly oriental-spicy, sweet, and gourmand with aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, gingerbread, as well as cloves. The heart note remains spicy-sweet and is accompanied by woody-resinous aromas thanks to sandalwood, guaiac wood, and cedarwood. Additionally, I catch hints of dried fruits like raisins and brown rum. The base is creamy, balsamic, and again sweet with notes of amber, bourbon vanilla, tonka beans, almond milk, as well as benzoin.
In the end, I am quite happy that I didn't detect any roses and only marginal oud, because this fragrance direction is abundant. Yes, I really find the "Oud - Ambre Cannelle | La Closerie des Parfums" quite nice. Many thanks to Nick for the sample.
