December 15, drugstore, impulse purchase.
The top note is berry fruity and rich. I smell various berries, including dominant blackcurrant.
In the heart note, it becomes vanilla and creamy.
Arriving in the base note, it is very soft, sweet, and feminine.
A perfectly successful interplay of berry and vanilla.
Creamy like a sweet dessert yet substantial like a plump fruit basket.
I find it remarkable that it is very pleasing and mass-appealing - yes, a true compliment magnet! - and still has a distinctive character.
The sillage is strong and the longevity is very good.
I find the bottle incredibly beautifully uncomplicated.
No frills, just classically elegant.
I would wish for a small bottle of it for my handbag - are there smaller sizes? :)
Another HUGE plus point is its versatility.
The scent is an elegant going-out fragrance, but also a pleasantly sweet office scent (when dosed discreetly).
I wear it almost daily now; it just fits. It envelops me in a vanilla cream cloud during these cold winter months, making me love to bury my nose in my scarf; I can't get enough of it. A gourmand delicious scent, simply irresistible.
I bought the scent after reading this description among others. What can I say, I don't regret it.
I really love this berry-sweet-vanilla vibe.
Cheers to you!
Thanks for the comment, here’s a Gourmand trophy! I’m not familiar with this scent - can you pick up any patchouli in it? Since I’m not a fan of that note, I usually steer clear of fragrances with it. And regarding the question about the small bottles: you could decant some into a travel spray for your handbag, then you’d always have it with you.
It's definitely well made. The top note totally reminds me of Crème de Cassis, and I find it wonderful!!!! Plus, it really lasts a long time. I actually still need to test the original.
I really love this berry-sweet-vanilla vibe.
Cheers to you!
