Yes, how could it come to this, that this overly large bottle is almost empty? I feel like I haven't worn In Woman that often?
Well, I have always liked the scent very much because it is bright and fruity, yet not childish. But then I had that obligatory encounter on the train. Who doesn't know it: Hot summer day and the girl in the compartment opposite is casually spraying on about 20 sprays of a fragrance that isn't really meant for this season. How do I come up with that number? I counted...and sniffed along. After that, I had had enough of In Woman for a while. It sat dusty on the shelf for over half a year until I spontaneously got a craving for a sweet scent while working on the PC. You don't want to put aside your expensive treasures, so I went with In. The color of the liquid reminded me, after the elapsed time, of...not-so-nice things. But it still smelled the same, and I liked it again.
In Woman is a typical La Rive: At first, more alcohol than scent, but shortly after, a passable resemblance to a high-priced perfume. Sì in this case. I don't know it well enough to make a direct comparison, so my description only refers to In Woman: As mentioned, the scent is sweet-fruity. Period. It is indeed a bit chaotic...As if the sturdy base of vanilla and amber was doused with a glass of nectar. But that's not necessarily bad, because they are nice components in themselves. In Woman is just not very delicate, but simply there and unmistakable.
The longevity is okay for me. Reapplying every 3 hours can be overlooked at this price. You have a huge bottle available anyway. In my opinion, it really isn't nice to look at, but that's irrelevant when you're wearing the scent.
In summary, I can say that I find In Woman to be a pleasant mix that I have reached for time and again when I was looking for a middle ground. I can well imagine that this one is on average the most popular La Rive because many don't place much value on being able to clearly recognize the individual components, but simply seek a good-smelling scent that has flair-and that applies to In Woman!
