Queen of Life La Rive 2014

Actually, I wanted to name this comment "I am the king of the world!" in reference to the modest name of this fragrance - "The Queen of Life". Then I saw where the name comes from: "Life is beautiful". And this does not refer to the rightly Oscar-decorated film of the same name, but to the perfume that has proven that a beautiful smile can rewrite the history of perfume.
When this very fragrance, which must not be named (like Voldemort), because it has become an anti-fragrance in some circles, hit the market, I was quite taken with it. Just like before with Poison, Hypnotic Poison, Angel, Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, and a few others, I was head over heels in love after the first sniff, ran out, bought it, only to either find out (in my younger years) that the scent was not my thing at all - or (in recent years) that the whole city and the entire country smelled of it. Both developments resulted in my acquired bottles being given away or sold cheaply, or, in one case, even having to serve as a fragrance spray for the toilet. I made some expensive mistakes.
Queen of Life is not one of them.
It is so sweet-sweet-sweet, so long-lasting, so rosy and sugary.
It is so affordable and so close to....(you know, Voldemort and so) that anyone who can still tolerate the original can purchase 75 ml of it for 5.95 euros and simply be happy. Since half of my family is still not cured and reaches for the original (my sister-in-law even for the Absolu, meaning you know where she has been for up to 30 minutes), I will generously gift them all at Christmas with the fragrance they all love, except for me. Small investment - big impact.
Life IS beautiful.
