Destinée La Rive

When I tested the fragrance in the drugstore, I could hardly believe that it was supposed to be a twin to Libre. I had to confirm several times that this was indeed ('really) Destinee; with nonexistent eyesight, I simply couldn't have verified it myself, at least not physically. I couldn't connect Destinee with Libre, as I remembered Libre being an absolutely different scent, an overload of lavender. But it was once again one that came to my nose at the end of one of my testing marathons... And only today could I test it quite unfiltered and find the parallels and the clear kinship.
Now back to Destinee. What wafted into my nose? Sweet floral, opulent, elegant, lively, seductive, and incredibly feminine! However, I didn't see it on me; I had a different type of woman in my mind's eye for this perfume, and yet... it wouldn't leave my head. After some back and forth, I ended up buying it, as my sweetheart was able to convince me otherwise, because in his opinion, it suited me perfectly. He was right; I didn't feel as out of place with this scent as I had thought, but rather quite comfortable, and I even received compliments and the question of what wonderful fragrance I was wearing. It is a true little treasure that can do a hell of a lot for its price and smells considerably more expensive than the €7 you pay for it. It fits everywhere, yet possesses something radiant and festive, without appearing overdressed; definitely a hidden gem, especially if you want a toned-down version of Libre, but not (cheap), or if you're looking for a good, affordable all-rounder with radiance.
