Lemon Candy
As a fan of lemon scents and ginger, I was already captivated by the fragrance notes at first glance. Shortly thereafter, I bought a bottle since one was available at an affordable price in the souk.
Filled with anticipation, I immediately tested the scent upon my arrival and was a bit puzzled - I know this smell, don’t I? I quickly got to the bottom of it and ultimately settled on the thought that the fragrance reminds me of the yellow Nimm2 candy and/or the Krümel iced tea in the lemon flavor.
Unfortunately, this association wouldn’t leave me, and I couldn’t warm up to the idea of smelling like Krümel iced tea.
It’s a pity really, because I should have liked the scent, and it is great nonetheless. You get a wonderful, fruity, bright, and fresh lemon, served on slightly spicy ginger.
In the end, however, the fragrance couldn’t win me over, as the thought described above felt too odd while wearing it.
