He Wood Rocky Mountain? Not at all... More like a light Terre Hermes
I bought the ink bottle yesterday and tested it all day today...
I must say there is no trace of He Wood Rocky to be found, at least on my skin; the Rocky smells friendlier, fresher, and sweeter. Moreover, the price comparison is not quite right either, as Encre Noir cost me less than my Rocky...
Encre Noire strongly reminds me of Terre d'Hermes in a lighter, less intrusive way than the Hermes. It's lighter but still lingering... you notice it, and it also has good longevity.
From the scent perspective, I can hardly find any differences; they smell almost identical in my opinion, except that the Noir lacks the severity and intrusiveness.
For me, a blind buy that unfortunately wasn't worth it. The scent is neither sweet nor smoky; it is really very spicy, and I also miss the wood a bit...
