Glorious Indigo is such a Unique, and interesting fragrance! Although its quite Woody and a bit Smokey and Powdery, It wears somewhat linear, etherial and quite "airy." Sort of like "Melecular scent", Yet its got really good staying power (9+ hours on skin) although the projection is juuust a bit more on the Intimate/moderate side, but I can always over-spray if I wanna really be noticed. Also, the "Powdery aspect" really does resemble "Baby Powder" to my nose and although I usually REALLY dislike the smell of Baby Powder, it just REALLY works super well with the Smokey/Woody aspect of Glorious Indigo and makes it smelly quite Classy and Gentlemanly for sure although Im positive this would be just as elegant on a woman! Also that "Baby Powder" nuance is NOT over-powering at all nor is it stifling in any way and just seems to peek its head out from under the Woods and Smoke every now & then and MAN! This thing is just BEAUTIFUL!
I have to say that Im super confused as to why no one else is mentioning the powdery aspect for GI? Very odd because its DEFINATELY there!
I also see that some compare tbis to Tom Ford's- Eben Fume, but I have a tester of that scent and they DO NOT smell alike imo. The Smoke is different and not nearly as intense with Glorious Indigo, and the woods are quite different and much more "Resinous" with Eben Fume as well whereas with GI, its a "Drier Woodiness", plus Eben Fume is NOT very powdery and the slight "Baby Powder" nuance make GloriousIndigo DEFINATELYstand-apart from Eben Fume or Nasomato's- Black Afgano 100%.. Glorious Indigo makes for an excellent office scent, its super elegant and innofensive... Just perfect the way it is! A 9 outta 10 imo.. I love it, LOVE IT!!
