First off, I am SOOO CONFUSED as to why my experience with Infinate Shine seems to differ so much from others? And not only on Parfumo, but also on other platforms! Infact, Ive seen varying descriptions of this scent from smelling like "Portrait of a Lady" to a "Spicey Oriental?" Anyhow, what (Im getting) is a lovely, soft Sandlewood forward fragrance with very slight Floral nuances and ZERO Spice or Saffron! Lol!
This scent is very linear and smells IMMEDIATELY like a Sandlewood fragrance from the begining along with high quality aroma chemicals, very light florals/rose and possibly some barely percievable fruity nuances, but the Sandlewood is King/Queen in Infinate Shine. While the fragrance is extremely smooth and seems to have soft projection, it truley lingers FOREVER on my skin, atleast 8 to 9 hours which is rare in my case.
Its Unisex leaning Feminine and honestly reminds me of a VIP, No Nonsense Business Woman or something. As a Man I find it easy to pull of bc again, the main component is no doubt the ever present Sandlewood. Theres Barely any sweetness at all here and this wears very airy and dry, almost like smelling Sandlewood shavings with a floral/rose Vase somewhere in the same room as the clippings. Now, my bottle initially had like ZERO SMELL AT ALL when Id initially recieved it, but nearly 4 to 5 months later, it bloomed into what it is today... CA-RAZY I KNOW!! Also, since the florals are so muted and "Barely there" Infinate Shine is perfect for layering other fragrances that have a Sandlewood dry-down. Last night I layered this under Aramis-Tuscany per Uomo and it prolonged the life of the wearing experience and blended beautifully together, although this definately out-lasted my Aramis! A gorgeous, very long-lasting yet polite 8 outta 10, "Expensive Smelling" linear Sandlewood scent for Men and Women alike!
