La Vie est Belle L'Absolu Lancôme 2014

Admittedly- the question may seem oddly out of place as a headline to a perfume commentary at first.

For this, however, one must know that this review has come about in the course of a picture test. The dear First has put together a great hiking package with 9 fragrances of which each of our round was allowed to choose and keep one - of course without knowing which fragrance it actually is.
Since the letter has reached me as the last, and I thus no longer had the agony of choice regarding the fragrances, but in return all 3 remaining were allowed to keep, I would like to share my experiences & thoughts on these with you.

But now finally to the fragrance:
The tube that I just hold in my hand is made of plastic, adorned by a handwritten "number 5". The liquid has a delicate pink / peach tone. I open the lid and sniff it. My first impression : Sweet, possibly a touch in the fruity direction - sweet red berries?

Curious how the fragrance will smell on me I spray a blast on my wrist. At first, it smells like alcohol. A few seconds later, the berry note (raspberry?) becomes more prominent whereby I'm still a few seconds later not sure if it could not also be an orange blossom? Really amazing what one so everything goes through the head if you do not know which fragrance you have in front of you.
But I am sure of one thing - the scent is really sweet ;) Immediately the association with La Vie est Belle comes to mind. I compare with La Vie est Belle Eclat - which I have at home and must say - my "number 5" is definitely even sweeter than the La Vie est Belle Flanker. Nevertheless, I think I can guess a certain DNA.

As it progresses, the fruity components become more subtle to my nose. I now perceive more sensual, cozy notes such as vanilla, tonka bean or even brown sugar and I like the fragrance increasingly better. After about 6 hours and half a working day, the scent is still perceptible but has become very skin-like - the fruity note has almost completely disappeared. If the sillage was really excellent at the beginning, the scent has now developed into a skin scent. After a good 8-9 hours I perceive him on my skin nothing more.

While testing, I close my eyes again and again, smell my wrist and imagine the person who wears this fragrance. I see a young attractive woman in my mind's eye, who knows exactly what she wants. She is often underestimated - but in reality she has it fistful behind the ears. Sometimes she is a little too loud, does not know her limits and can quickly once become a little much - but impresses just men by their self-confident nature.

In summary, I really like the fragrance - however, he is not my favorite among the remaining three. Personally, I would wear it all year round except on the really hot summer days. For work, he would be a little too loud for my liking and is more a fragrance for leisure or evenings.
