Here, everything is roasted to the max! But are those chestnuts?
Unfortunately, this cannot be filtered out upon first spray, rather burnt starch, roasted grains, charred sugar, malty nuances.
However, this unpleasant note disappears after a few minutes, giving the stage to a completely atypical tuberose.
Where this plant was previously known to me as a sweet-powdery tropical dream, it now continues in a floral-fresh and citrus-spring-like manner.
The heaviness is completely absent, and yet the perfume is already very loud and noticeable at this stage!
A slight twist towards nuttiness is also present after half an hour.
It could continue like this, as the scent is beautifully composed up to this point...
The fresh sourness gradually fades, and then a fallen-overripe fruit lingers in the background...
Perhaps a (canned) PEAR???
A certain reluctance sets in for me, as this scent is quite demanding in its loud overpowering presence.
After two hours, the presence softens somewhat, and I could swear that the pyramid has concealed a hint of sweet guaiac wood from us...
What am I saying... No hint! But a whole truckload that simply refuses to go away.
Even in the seventh hour, it is a monothematic guaiac radiance. All freshness or floral notes have disappeared.
The scent is sweet-dull and very rigid in its projection and is now seriously getting on my nerves.
And it takes until about seven hours for everything to become softer, creamier, and for the beautiful initial nuances to shine through again.
A strange progression that naturally only reflects my own perception.
Nevertheless, I consider the perfume to be well-made, noble, and very distinctive.
Unfortunately, the scent did not resonate with my taste, as the three nuances
'Roasted', 'Fruit', and 'Guaiac' are simply not my thing.
For fans of guaiac perfumes, such as Palo Santo, this may be an absolute recommendation to test.
Conclusion: A rather dominant yet softly flattering perfume for a grand evening appearance, or - when dosed more discreetly - usable as an exquisite daytime scent.
For ladies only!
No words are needed for the brilliantly beautiful bottle with a magnetic cap and golden metal ornaments. One day it will be in a museum!
Thank you, Miss Piggy, for the great sample! Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me to overcome my roasting material phobia!
