A wonderful symphony of perfumed notes
I never tested the vintage Arpège, so my rewiew refers to the recent version.
I adore this symphony of olfactive notes where the Aldheydes at the top make their solo like a soprano.
All is perfectly balanced for a result very rich, classic and maybe "ladylike", but infinetly charming.
The sillage is strong and the black bottle too reminds me of the black ebony of my old grand piano.
That's music for my nose and for my soul too. unfortunately the price is high and I never owned a bottle of this historical scent....but never say never!
