Narcissus (1597-1599)
"I bury my head in the pillow, and dream of my true love..." - Michelangelo Merisi Da Caravaggio
Being deeply connected to art, you are given an ability to notice the depth behind it, and detect scents that are connected to it. I witnessed that phenomenon seeing the Narcissus painting for the first time in my life.
First thing that came to my mind was Ameer al oudh, intense oud by Lattafa. There is no explanation for this scent besides the indescribable profundity. The amount of delectable and so sweet darkness we receive is not from the physical world. Only when looking into our darkest desires are we able to find it. Being so obscure it is impossible to not love yourself as Narcissus did so badly. Fragrance is dangerous and purely arousing that one can go crazy for. Dive into places you have never been to, use it and feel the extreme emotion when it lingers to your skin during the coldest and the darkest night...
