By now, we've reached the point where I no longer have to wash you off directly.. well, "scrape off" is probably more accurate, because this scent lasts!!!11elf

I've heard that you can train yourself to like things. I can definitely confirm that.. olives were the ultimate challenge for me, but now I really enjoy them. Or coriander.

Anyway.. our story began with Erba Pura. It's supposed to be sooo great. My curiosity was piqued - so off I went to do some research. That's when I stumbled upon Ana Abiyedh. I thought to myself, okay if this is supposed to be so similar to Erba Pura, and I find this DNA just as wonderful as the others, then this one is definitely in my price range. So I ordered a sample.

The first spray hit my forearm daringly. I held my nose to it.. and what I got was sharp hairspray. Not the expensive kind.. but the cheap stuff that no one wants to buy. Then came the smell as if I were sniffing a pear - I don't mean the juicy flesh, but that sweet scent of the skin. So that's what people meant by fruity? The smell hit me so sharply in the nose and was so unpleasant to endure that I had to wash it off. But the scent had merged with my forearm and became even more unpleasant, as only that sharp synthetic note remained.

For a long time, I ignored the sample. In the meantime, there was no peace, as this DNA was simply everywhere! At the supermarket, hardware store, kebab shop.. honestly.. everywhere. Who can enjoy this scent was a mystery to me.

However, in the past few days, I've sniffed it again and even dared to apply it once more. It’s still not love at first sniff. I still smell that sharp synthetic note and the sweet fruit peels. But I can now detect a bit more orange, which softens the sweetness of the scent. And a little vanilla, which makes the sharpness a bit creamier.

After half an hour, I even find the scent quite okay. Maybe I’ll come to really like this scent someday..

If I could assign a flavor to the scent, it would definitely be crushed sweetener tablets with lots of pear and a few orange peels, topped off with a little vanilla pod.
