Patience pays off!

Asad Zanzibar is one of those scents that took time to grow on me. At first, I honestly found it quite musty - a strange, dull note that just didn’t fit the tropical theme. It smelled somewhat moldy, as if the fragrance had already gone off.

But after a few months of aging, everything changed completely: suddenly, a really lovely, warm coconut comes through, pleasantly creamy and noticeably rounder than at the beginning.

For me, it works best in early summer - as soon as it gets really hot, it’s just too heavy and too “in your face.”
A tip from experience: don’t spray it on light clothing. It stains - I learned that the hard way on vacation.

Overall, an interesting coconut scent with power, but not an all-rounder. If you let it mature, it becomes good - but there are lighter and more elegant alternatives that have a significantly better coconut note.

Moldy, rotten - that's how it smelled to me too. Interesting that it seems to have changed after all. I thought that would be impossible with this monster.. D:

Same here! I felt the same way. That musty scent... But that's just the pepper at the beginning, and then it develops. Now I like it.
