Double oud (in the name) and double fruit in the fragrance pyramid

Another Lattafa blind order: Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory in a cuboid black 100ml flacon.

Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory is a fragrance for men that is classified as oriental-woody here at Parfumo.

According to the supplier (Lattafa.de), the fragrance pyramid looks different to that of Parfumo (?). At Lattafa.com, however, the pyramid matches that of Parfumo:

Top notes: bergamot, pink peppercorn, blackcurrant
Heart notes: Peony, Caramel, Oud Wood
Base notes: raspberry, patchouly, dry amber

This description makes it interesting for me in principle, hence the blind purchase for 25€/100ml. I'm curious about the caramel in the heart note and the raspberry in the base note. Over 4000 Parfumo users own the Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory. So it's popular. The community's fragrance rating is 7.9.

In the "Similar" section, Parfumo lists Oud for Greatness first, which is 14 times the price. I am happy to mention this, but without wanting to make an original dupe comparison here. I don't even have the Initio fragrance; it's not in my price category. However, the Lattafa fragrance is quite bold with its very similar name and bottle. It's an "official dupe", so to speak. Interestingly, the Arabic "Oud for G*" lacks the typical oriental spices saffron and nutmeg of the Oud for Greatness.

With that in mind, let's get testing. Let's see what the "Glory" can do.

When you spray it on in the morning after a shower, it's fruity at first. The blackcurrant comes out, or generally I smell black fruits like blackberry. Bergamot is added somewhat inconspicuously. After a few minutes, I can actually smell a subtle peppery note. I go to the bakery when it's raining and the black fruits come out from between my scarf and hood. Pleasantly fresh but still carried with/by body heat in the unpleasantly cold air outside.

The heart note is initially floral, but quickly takes on a woody tone that almost has a base note character. I don't smell caramel at first. but 10 minutes later, the peony actually recedes and makes way for the sweet caramel note. But the oud clearly does its thing.

After about 1.5 hours, the first hints of raspberry. Yes, a second "fruit layer" slowly builds up. The base note pleases with this fruity tone. In my opinion, the fragrance pyramid on Parfumo describes it very well.

Lasting power and downstream sillage are good in my opinion. As soon as I move around, even after hours, I have the beautiful drydown fragrance in my nose.

As I said, the 100ml bottle is very similar to the Oud for Greatness bottle, rectangular, black with gold-colored ornaments. Very high quality manufacturing. Good rating for that.

The fruity notes do not define/qualify Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory as a summer fragrance. The oud is too overpowering for that, rather warm and heavy.

Summary
The double oud lives up to its name. The fragrance is indeed very woody. For me, fruity is the second important characteristic of Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory. Caramel and raspberry could have been a little more concise for my taste. But that's fine, the fragrance will stay with me. At the same time, it forms the boundary of my area of interest towards the woody and fruity fragrance type. In my portfolio, it is a nice addition or even a counterpoint to my spicy-sweet and gourmand perfumes. The frame still remains "oriental", as I like it.
