At first, it was exhausting for me, and then it just keeps getting better
I recently received a sample of Mughal Fort and was quite curious about this fragrance. To be honest, I find the initial phase of the scent relatively exhausting, and I didn't expect something like this.
It doesn't match my personal taste at all. However, over time, it becomes all the more beautiful!
The fragrance starts off quite floral for me. I'm not quite sure how to describe it.
To my nose and mind, it's a mix of various flowers, musk, and associations with older women, hair salons, and different detergents.
Sounds crazy? Yes, it is for me too. I don't like this type of fragrance. It simply doesn't suit my taste at all.
After a while, this initial phase mentioned above passes. All the negative impressions gradually fade away. The musk becomes creamier, it generally becomes more powdery, and above all, sweeter.
A hint of cardamom plays with caramel, vanilla, and amber.
In my opinion, the vanilla becomes increasingly intense, and the slight gourmand impression that emerges is simply very lovely. However, it doesn't become overly sweet or sticky at all.
The performance is really good.
It lasts quite well on me and projects nicely too.
But one should make a personal impression of the fragrance. So please don't be deterred by the earlier part!
This is solely my personal impression.
