Soft, spicy, green
After applying Eau des Délices, a pungent, citrusy alcohol scent hits my nose (4711), but it quickly fades. Phew!
It then quickly becomes spicy (muscat sage), pleasantly citrusy-fresh (bergamot and mandarin) and green-floral (oakmoss and lavender).
Slowly, the typical scents of petitgrain and neroli join in, making it a little more tart. But thanks to the musk that also appears now, Eau des Délices remains beautifully soft.
I can also smell a slightly soapy note, but I don't know where it comes from (probably C7 aldehydes).
Overall, I find the fragrance soft, spicy, green, slightly fresh and rather masculine.
