Simply Powder!

There are fragrances that are so simple because they contain only one or a few scent notes and therefore come without any fragrance development. Some may find this bothersome, but even such simple scents can smell quite good, like Poudre de Riz, which I could definitely recommend to women.

The scent:
Hm… yes, it’s a bit difficult to describe a fragrance when the, um,… yes, the entire fragrance pyramid is missing! However, I do know that the composition is supposed to consist of powdery rice milk, but whether rice powder smells like that, I cannot say. Anyway, I will still try to describe this scent here.
It is… powdery! Okay, you probably won’t be satisfied with that, will you?
It actually starts off a bit sweet before the scent becomes softer. The powdery note smells for a tiny moment like powdery iris (so not the carroty iris), before it simply begins to smell soft, gentle, and indeed powdery. The scent is very natural; you get the feeling that if you were to blow, you could swirl all the powder into the air.
I can’t write much more, except to mention again that it smells like powder. Somehow very pure and clean. After about three to four hours, it also had a scent like freshly washed laundry or fabric softener, but in a sweeter way.

The longevity and sillage:
With a scent that only smells like powder, one shouldn’t expect too much longevity. And indeed, the scent only lasts a few hours on the skin. The sillage is also quite weak and very close to the body, but that’s probably okay since you would likely wear this scent just for yourself, as I will describe in more detail below.

The bottle:
The bottle looks like a small flask and is filled with a clear perfume liquid. There is a label with a nicely drawn frame on it, displaying the name and brand of the fragrance. The spray head is silver and looks like a thread at the neck of the bottle. There doesn’t seem to be a cap. Overall, it’s quite okay.

For me, this scent is not a perfume that you wear and then leave the house or apartment with. It is simply a clean, comforting scent for oneself when you just want to relax at home.

You can also use it as a goodnight scent when going to sleep, probably optimal in combination with fresh bed linens.
It says here that the scent is unisex, but for me, it clearly leans towards the feminine side, and I think it could appeal to women quite a bit, so I recommend a test if you should happen to see the scent anywhere.
