Bouton de Rose Le Prince Jardinier

Pink Rosebuds
Bouton de Rose - the rosebud - is an interesting rose scent. Yes, you should like rose fragrances to wear it, and yes, it can definitely be worn by the male faction as well.
Bouton de Rose does not correspond to what I would have expected from the garden prince. It is actually just a bud and a bright rose at that. Pink, white, or very delicate light yellow. The scent starts fruity-fresh and it takes a little while for the flowers to develop.
The rosebud does not smell alone; many delicate little flowers surround it and give it volume. I feel transported to an English rose garden, where the roses have not yet fully bloomed, but they are already showing their colorful buds and conveying their delicate scent.
Initially quite sweet, the sweetness gradually diminishes and the scent becomes clearer and finer. Up to the base, Bouton de Rose is extremely subtle and close to the skin. Longevity is so-so, it could be better. For the original retail price, I would not buy the scent, as the longevity is too poor. However, since I got it very cheaply on the bay, I will gladly use it and probably finish it faster than my other rose fragrances.
The LPJ EdTs are no longer available on the LPJ website and are sold out at most perfumeries. So it could be that they might disappear from the market in the foreseeable future. Where available, the prices are significantly reduced, making a purchase definitely worthwhile.
