Little Theater

In reviews, this fragrance is often compared to Torino22. I am not familiar with that one, so I will not reference it further. The sample is well-used, so I can say little about the bottle, except that its simple design looks almost a bit too generic in pictures.

But how does the fragrance smell?

Apple in various facets seems to be a current fragrance motif. "Angels' Share | Kilian", "Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff", Layton are well-known and sought-after scents that have experienced and continue to experience hype both on Parfumo and in social media. This perfume also dedicates itself to the theme of apple. Very much so.

So, curtain up and stage clear for a green-costumed, almost diva-like apple. It is polished to a high shine and - forgive me the strange association - if I could chew this scent, I would surely have the mouthfeel of Halloumi cheese, with that squeaky, almost rubbery bite. The appearance does not seem sprightly; the style comes across as a bit old-fashioned to me. What is the reason for this? I can't pinpoint it exactly, but probably the discordant notes are played second fiddle by the rose. To make matters worse, the shy fir balsam fails to create an adequate backdrop for the dissonances of the elderly rosewater and exists as a quiet background noise.
The squeaky apple then retreats, and the base increasingly comes to the forefront. It becomes spicier, more interesting, yet to my dismay, I always perceive the discordant note.

The performance lasts long enough; it also makes itself heard. But after three tests, I no longer want this.

Let's move on to the conclusion: for me, a fragrance that requires getting used to, of the squeaky kind; with a discordant note that is not highlighted. Overall, the performance seems too intrusive to me. The arrangement wants to be much and devolves into excess. I actually do not like this scent. What a pity.
