Une Folie de Rose Les Parfums de Rosine 2004

I would have never thought to test perfumes that already have the word "Rose" in the brand name, but thanks to Don's sample set, I have now had the pleasure and absolutely do not regret it.

I always found coriander to be strangely soapy and couldn't imagine it in fragrances until now. However, in "Une Folie de Rose," it is used so cleverly that, in combination with Ylang-Ylang, it creates a synergistic connection that could easily last until the end, but unfortunately, it smells almost like "Stella" in the dry down, which is almost boring again.
Almost ... because the base notes prevent it from drifting too much into the generic, and the coriander-Ylang symbiosis makes a subtle appearance towards the end.

Longevity and sillage are not overwhelming, but for a perfume in this category, they are quite good, and I am now curious about the other fragrances from Les Parfums de Rosine.
