I was very curious when I opened my package today. After reading Orientpoison's comment beforehand, I was aware that I wouldn't be greeted by an overwhelming oud scent, but I was still intrigued, as "Christmas and spices" always sounds interesting.
Now to the fragrance:
I hardly perceive bergamot at all; it probably resonates so subtly that it doesn't bother me further.
I detect a delicate oud note that blends with spices, amber, and in my opinion also vanilla/heliotrope (it's probably not in there, but I imagine it). Oud is therefore only to be sensed and combines "creamy" with the other fragrance components.
I don't know why, but something about this scent reminds me of a note from Joop's Nuit d'été, and it is exactly this note that I loved so much in that fragrance.
Definitely a scent that fits more into the autumn and winter season. I like it, and I have not regretted this blind purchase (this time).
I surprisingly picked up on the vanilla, even though it's not listed. It has a slightly synthetic vibe, but for this price, it's manageable. I like it, and I think it will be great for winter, even though I prefer Ambre Sultan as a classic amber scent. Oud is definitely noticeable in the background. Good fragrance!
