Crisp autumnal air of the pine forest
Not at all what I expected from this composition. Don't get me wrong, if I concentrate on untangling them – I can smell each of the notes. The faint sweetness of frankincense, the prickly pepper, the earthy vetiver and smoky leather... I just half-expected and half-feared that they would all mix together and make me smell like a sexy little church.
And yet I sprayed it and found myself in the midst of a coniferous forest, breathing in its cold autumnal air. Fresh, invigorating, with a hint of smoke and bitter pine tar.
Lasted an eternity and then some. I still caught faint whiffs of it on my skin 24 hours and a shower later. Other people were able to smell it an outstretched hand away from me for the first few hours, but it settled closer to the skin as time went on. I tested it on my partner as well and achieved a slightly warmer and sweeter, but otherwise identical result.
A very clean, minimalistic and versatile scent. So simple, and yet by the end of the day I became absolutely enthralled by it. 10/10 blind buy, worth every penny.
