The opening is a bit overwhelming for me, but after an hour or so it calms down and reveals a pleasant heart. It's somewhat hard for me to describe how it smells, but the listed notes — musk, resinous notes, sandalwood, and violet — feel accurate, though I don't smell any sandalwood. I'm not big on violet, but those that are might just really enjoy this perfume. The price feels a bit excessive though.
