If I were a witch, I’d smell like this
If I somehow was reborn as a witch (in my next life), this LL flanker would be one of my signature scents. I can’t help but think of a dark, beautiful, woman with magic powers and a mean draw to her when I smell this.
Growing up, my mama wore the OG LL and while I wasn’t crazy about it then, my taste in perfume has matured quite a bit to where I can actually say I enjoy anise and licorice in perfumery. So, I wanted to add one LL apple to my collection as she’s one of the reasons why I’ve grow up being the perfume enthusiast that I am. The Eau de Minuit flanker is an amber-resin forward version of the OG, with a bite of green ivy in the opening, and a very sweet vanillic dry down. It’s gourmand without being full edible, it’s sweet without being unbearable / cloying, and it’s not too powdery. I absolutely adore everything about this fragrance, right down to the gorgeous purple and red bottle.
Excellent performance on this one. Stays well on clothes. Projects so well. Love this hidden gem.
