The Blue(?) Innocence

Nose pain.
That is my first memory of L. Not because the test strip smelled so horrifically awful, but because I had simply overwhelmed my sniffing organ: rarely has it clung so excessively and obsessively to something as it did to this little piece of paper. Shortly thereafter, the cute bottle decorated my dresser.

For me, no other perfume is simultaneously so sweetly innocent and weightless, which is why concerns about overdosage are misplaced. The top note is almost worth a sneeze: oranges prick and cinnamon tickles. But oh, right behind this initial explosion, L shows her true face: sweet and almost childishly playful, the vanilla wraps me around her finger. The delicious base remains perceptible on clothing for weeks(!). May I present: the perfect summer vanilla!

"Mmmmhhh, Kinder chocolate": Compliments are not lacking with this flattering scent. The supposed simplicity ("vanilla scented candle") of the composition is not lost on me; but for me, L is a very sophisticated and unique aquatic sweet perfume.

The bitter pill is its transience: after a year, my sweet little water turned, which was already slightly brownish at the time of purchase. Note: fresh = light blue.

Nevertheless: a scent I can always reach for, no matter the time of day or year. Great love.

I also tested a brownish one at the perfume store, and it smelled just the same. The color probably changes much faster than the scent. Better than the other way around, right?
