Extraordinary

So many times I've samples a fragrance and the response has been "nice, but won't be buying a bottle", such is the supply and demand in the fragrance world. It's difficult to actually smell something that is so different, so noteworthy, that I seriously consider the niche price tag. Loree Rodkin has provided me with an opportunity to revel in opulence, yes opulence.

From the site notes are listed as 'a lush blend of exotic vanillas with patchouli notes'. I use vision to describe fragrances, vision and experience evoked. The fragrance envelopes, I'm reminded of many things, reclining on a chaise longue wearing something expensive, possibly darkest red, velvet and flowing.

The other reviews I've seen report this as very long lasting, which was to be expected from an oil based sample. Sillage has been reported as soft, though, not when applied generously, as is my preference.

I'm struggling to find a reason not to buy.

There is no reason: just buy it! ;-)
