Teint de Neige Lorenzo Villoresi 2000 Eau de Toilette

Unfortunately a bit old-fashioned...
After Teint de Neige was translated as Snow White's complexion and was often compared to baby powder, I expected something youthful, perhaps even a bit too childish. So I was all the more surprised that my associations immediately leaned towards older, wealthy ladies. I mainly smell the powdery notes and the rose, which probably leads to these associations. Longevity and sillage are very strong, almost penetrating (I could still perceive the scent in the room several hours after testing it with just one spray).
You can tell it's definitely not to my taste, but it will surely find admirers among vintage fans.

It's funny, this is a typical Italian scent. Ten years ago, it was a popular baby powder-musk-clean scent here. There have been many similar fragrances around. You don't have to like them. In my opinion, it's not a masculine scent. What surprises and annoys me about these sporadic negative reviews is the association with "older and elderly ladies." I belong to that group, and so do many others here. Such labels are degrading for our age group and completely unnecessary. Are there no other ways to express dislike for a fragrance?

And it seems you only tested the Eau de Toilette version...the EDP is way stronger :))) almost too strong to wear...it's definitely old school; I can't really picture it on a woman under 35/40...but I still think it's pretty good. However, I have the "better" alternative for me: Soavissima by PR :)

I can only agree with that. I expected something different and find it a bit old-fashioned...
