Loud, obnoxious, and boring
L'Immensité is the perfect encapsulation of the average Louis Vuitton consumer. Loud, brash, arrogant, he carries a wallet with the LV logo emblazoned all over it to signal to the ladies that he has money. In reality, that wallet is the same quality and made in the same Chinese factory as the Fossil you can get at the mall for 1/10 of the price. But who cares about that, right?
It's crazy to me that some reviewers on here call this elegant or classy. L'Immensité is anything but. It's the olfactory equivalent of driving a bright yellow car with a modified exhaust and a foot-tall spoiler. You are wearing this scent for others, not yourself. You want to get compliments. And you will.
Scent-wise, this is just grapefruit with a ton of aromachemicals to extend its life and have the sillage reach as many people as possible. The aromachemical accord just feels like "generic male scent #1." Ambroxan, ISO-E, Cascalone, all the usual suspects. It doesn't even have the nice vetiver drydown of TdH.
Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette is classy, elegant, reserved. L'Immensité is his f***boi cousin who can't get enough attention and has to be escorted out of clubs.

I disagree, I find this rather easy to wear. There are other fragrances in this DNA family that are harsher.

It’s not even a loud scent…

I had to scrub it off after 5 hours to end the assault on my nose. It doesn't smell awful but gives me a headache.
