“Clean girl” perfume

Heures D’Absence is for my pretty girls that like a “clean girl” aesthetic. This reminds me of an expensive shampoo or shower gel that you’d get complimentary in your luxury room at an upscale hotel. It’s slightly sweet, very floral, soapy, light and EXTREMELY feminine. Like seriously, it doesn’t get more girly and femme than this. I really love how all of the notes play with each other, as if they’re dancing around, giddy and giggling in the sun. I love the addition of the raspberry because it gives the fragrance a juiciness in the opening. It’s also a bit powdery, but not in the lipsticky, cosmetic smelling way that can sometimes be off putting. It’s very fresh and honestly, I’m really loving it.

Heures is not a powerhouse by any means, but the longevity is actually really good for a scent that’s so light and simple. This can easily be someone’s signature scent, but honestly, this is just so pretty and easy to wear that you can really wear it anywhere and anytime. I think it’s a scent that could use a bit of heat to really project more, but the projection is intimate to moderate as it should be. Yes all the LV perfumes are overpriced and yes most of them aren’t groundbreaking, but you cannot deny their quality and that most times, the fragrance smells really nice.
