A gourmand most heavenly, and I suppose this is what the Celestial Harmony name is supposed to imply as well, this perfume brings to mind the dessert Romanians in the Wallachia region make to celebrate the feast of the 40 Martyrs of Sebaste on March 9. It`s a licorice-like sweet soup with little dough pasta shaped as the number 8 floating along with a generous sprinkling of cinnamon, walnuts, and sugar. It`s deliciously delightful but never too much because it`s not heavy on sugar. The serving of rum in here is rather generous, and of course the Christian dessert doesn`t feature that as an ingredient, but nevertheless, the overall sensation is that of the religious treat. A naughty nun taking a swig of her secret stash while enjoying a bowl of mucenici. Yummy and utterly nostalgic.
