Very helpful Review
Turquoise Chypre with the highest recognition value.
My first contact with "Blue Paradise" was about 3 years ago in a Rossmann store. The already inexpensive Eau de Parfum was reduced to 12 euros for a 50 ml bottle. The brand name MCM was already familiar to me from "Obelisk," which I already owned and liked very much. So I rang for an employee and asked to try the scent with a tester. First on a test strip, and then on my skin. What wafted towards me was quite strong and extremely remarkable. Rich green galbanum scents mingled with a good portion of hyacinth, which appeared very blue (only the blue flowers have this scent quality), and a bitter lily of the valley just peeked out. Another strong sweet-bitter scent component could not be determined by me at that time; today I know it is the cyclamen. This turquoise (green plus hyacinth blue) remains dominant throughout the entire scent progression and is only complemented after about 2 to 3 hours by woody oak moss (which seems to be un-reformulated, thank goodness) and vetiver, which brings the flowers down from floating. The lingering of this already long-lasting scent composition feels endless and pleasant. An Eau de Parfum in the truest sense of the word. The scent of "Blue Paradise" is very special, probably not to everyone's taste (but to mine), and there is NO OTHER Eau de Parfum that smells even remotely like it. If I were to smell it on any occasion, I would recognize it immediately. Unique and well made.

I also once owned it. It just came along with me - untested - and I really liked it. I haven't seen it in any store since.

Yes, helpful and award-worthy. Is this blue, paradisiacal MCM scent still available?

I'm usually not like this, but in this case, I only like "the one from before"; I think it has lost its original recognition value, unfortunately.

I had that ages ago when I was a young woman; I think I need to sniff it again. Thanks for the reminder :-)
