You really have to like the latter - there's a slight bitter 'aftertaste'; the drydown is good standard; conclusion: for me, it's closer to niche than designer fragrances - there's an interesting scent progression that fits the name - however, the synthetic notes are undeniable - which is absolutely forgivable given the price back then.
