Aunt Tosca is still elegant!
Aunt Tosca is still elegant!
Aunt Tosca is from the year 1924, still sharp in her mind, but otherwise (due to age) a bit frail.
Aunt Tosca sleeps in linen bed sheets, which are still starched and ironed. They must be white, snow white! Colorful microfiber stuff does not enter her bedroom. She is afraid of bed sheets with animals on them.
Aunt Tosca has a private caregiver who helps her with personal hygiene and washes her in the morning at seven with a harsh soap that smells citrusy and very clean. The caregiver must wash each finger individually.
Aunt Tosca only wears blouses with white collars and cotton underwear, which also needs to be starched and ironed.
Aunt Tosca has never married and still prefers to be called Miss, even though she wasn't particularly Miss-like in her youth. She was once pretty and after the war, she had her fun with the Allies in the barn.
Aunt Tosca employs a foot care specialist, also referred to as a domestic helper, who brings her a bouquet of mixed roses and carnations once a week. Only fragrant flowers are allowed, no sterile roses that look nice but don’t smell.
In front of her window, a jasmine bush is blooming.
For her 90th birthday, she received a huge bouquet of flowers. Spring blooms, daffodils, and Easter lilies. She dried it and it still stands on the Jugendstil sideboard that she inherited from her mother.
At exactly 3:00 PM, coffee is always served. Every day there are vanilla rolls. Not even an earthquake will disrupt her routine.
Once a week, the antique furniture is polished with oil. She doesn’t compromise on that!
I have to wrap this up now because dinner is served at exactly 6:00 PM!

Oh, I love the scene you've written :-)! But...don't let it make people think this is just for (old) aunts. Tosca EDP is a great fragrance that beats Chanel no5 in performance and by heaving 'a soul' that Chanel No 5 lacks in my humble opinion. Great timeless fragrance! Thanks for the nice read though :-)!

Hmm, that doesn't sound too enthusiastic, does it? I really love the EdP. For me, it's just as good as Chanel N°5 and lasts for hours on me. Just in case the EdP disappears again, I've stocked up a bit.

For me, the Tosca is perfect for a stuffy old aunt.

I love my aunts and uncles, and Aunt Tosca is one of my favorites! A structured day with few surprises isn't for everyone, but it makes you feel content and at peace. Very nice! And enjoy your meal!

Aunt Tosca is a very dear aunt to me, and she even celebrated her 100th birthday. You wouldn't guess it at all ;-) They've done a great job with the current EdP.
