Out of the way, you metro scents!

Yes, that's a sentence that a lively Tabac Man bottle could say. :D

If you want to provoke against sweet scents like One Million, Le Male, Joop! Homme ......etc., or want to let a nonconformist shine through, I can only recommend Tabac Man.

Now to the scent,
How can Tabac Man be described?
After the first spray, it can really knock someone off their feet. It starts very masculine and also very herbal, as if you just chopped fresh herbs from the garden. (Somehow strange that the heart notes are noticeable first, but it's not a big deal!) This lasts for about 10 minutes and then the masculine gentleman slowly becomes softer and sweeter, but in no way in a intrusive manner, rather in a dark, bitter, and interesting way. Especially the lavender and mint stand out clearly! The bergamot and orange stay in the background and allow it to become so soft.
This lasts for a good 2 to 3 hours and then, finally, the base note slowly comes in. First the vanilla and then the sandalwood. The patchouli keeps it appearing masculine and dark until the end. I also find that the base note has some similarities with "Zino" by Davidoff.

I received the whole set from my girlfriend for my birthday. The shower gel is more herbal than the scent itself! The deodorant smells very similar to the EdT and the aftershave is brutal!!!

What I also cannot understand at all is that Tabac Man has such a 'bad' rating for longevity and sillage. I find it stronger than my signature scent Tabac Original.

Tabac Man will never be everyone's cup of tea, but in my opinion, it deserves a slightly better rating. A great scent for occasional use when you’re fed up with sweet mainstream fragrances. ;)

Now I'm just reading the comment. You're welcome! Tabac Man isn't exactly THE fragrance, but the price/performance ratio is more than perfect here! As I said, I find it brilliant for occasional use! :-)

Tested it myself and was pleasantly surprised! A solid guy that really does a good job. One of those drugstore surprises that you should definitely try out. Thanks for the test tip!

I found it terrible on the test strip, even hours later - but thanks to your encouragement, I’ll give it another try on my skin. Great comment!

Very well described - especially the similarity to Zino is spot on. This scent works for me only at certain times - best during a long hike in cool weather - that's when I can really indulge in it.

That's why I don't understand why it has such a low rating for longevity and sillage. There are fragrances here that are weaker but have better ratings.

Yes, of course, Unruh! It's intense! It has a typical, strong, rugged, and above all, dark tone. The longevity and sillage are fantastic! I can guarantee you that!

Trophy! But... there's an After Shave from "Tabac Man"? O_O
