I also had the chance to test it in Düsseldorf at the Duftstars, a truly successful counterpart to the old original, so if you’re not a fan of the old one, definitely give this a try! Very long-lasting, the sillage was still clearly noticeable in the evening! The opening is peppery and bitter, then the herbal notes of lavender come through along with something vanilla-like, which I believe is the tonka bean. I find the finish with vetiver very well done!
